Overdale Guesthouse And Free Parking – A Favorite for Families in Whitby

Overdale Guesthouse And Free Parking in Whitby offers free private parking on-site, a rarity in this seaside town. The property is strictly adult-only, ensuring a quiet environment for couples and solo travelers. Daily housekeeping, luggage storage, and a breakfast basket delivered to the room are provided, along with complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the building.

Each room at Overdale is en-suite with a private bathroom equipped with a bath or shower, free toiletries, and a hair dryer. Rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a hospitality tray with tea, coffee, biscuits, and bottled water, plus a mini fridge in some rooms for keeping drinks cold. Accommodations include King Rooms, Double Rooms, Superior Double Rooms, and a one-bedroom chalet called Illingsworth Lodge, which is all one open space.

The guesthouse sits on Prospect Hill, a 10-minute walk downhill into Whitby town centre through Pannett Park. Whitby Museum is 200 metres from the property, and Whitby Abbey is 1.1 km away. North York Moors National Park is nearby, and a bus stop just a short walk from the front door provides easy access to the harbour and beach.

The Illingsworth Lodge, a one-bedroom chalet, is pet-friendly and accepts one small to medium dog. This lodge is a single open-plan room without a separate bedroom, offering a private bathroom and a mini fridge.
